Carspotters' Challenge #65--Beach Blanket Bingo

Many of us are taking next week off because of the holiday, so in the spirit of summer vacations here's an aerial view of a campground near the ocean, taken sometime in the 1970s.

"'Beach Blanket Biiiiiingo/That's the name of the game!"See anything you like?

One of the first things I like to do with these Challenges is to guess what year the photos were taken. I'm guessing late 1968 or '69 for this one.

The Buick Sport Wagon (left, near center) catches my eye. Here's a pic of another one maybe identical to it:

That's camping in the good old days... before we went crazy with large motorhomes, trailers, etc.

I miss station wagons as much as anything else from my youth.

recognized that '67 Country Squire wagon immediately since my parents owned one. Awesome car.

What is the wagon in the upper left? A Country Sedan?

I'm thinking that's a Torino wagon or whatever they were called.

'64 Impala by the wall tent up top and the Mustang far left.

Upper left...a 66-68 Cadillac convertible?
