The U.S.-Mexico border line, to be specific, in 1969. Please have your passport ready.
See anything interesting to declare?

In the column 2 left of the center, the one with the white Camaro... 2 cars in front of that Camaro, is that a Type 3 Squareback with rear end damage?

A UHaul trailer being towed by a Corvair?

Hmmm... I see a funny dark green van with two old hippies.

Looks like a Nomad behind the VW van.

Curious what the little wagon with what seems to be an ajar trunk on the left is?
Was just contemplating a road trip from the PNW to Loreto.

I agree that there are few less likely tow vehicles than a pre-1965 Corvair two door. All 80 horsepower without the benefit of coolant pulling a U-Haul must have made for some interesting engine wear.
There are also a couple of cars that today would be considered collectors-- the 1958 Cadillac and the Chevy two-door station wagon (were they all Nomads?) over toward the left.

How about the red with white vinyl top 68-70 Charger off to the right?
Behind it looks likie it could be a 47-52 Studebaker...or it could be a late 40s-early 50s Chevy...cars of that era all look alike to me.
Ahead of it is a 59 Olds or Pontaic and to the right, a 59 Chevy.
To the lfet of the Charger a 69 Caprice two door.
Whats to the left of the Type 3...a 57 Buick or Cadillac?
